Starting up, registering, and running a business (2 Hours) – Attendees will understand how to establish a business, identify and understand the advantages and disadvantages of legal forms of ownership, discussions on intellectual property and different forms of contracts. Attendees will understand how to register the business at federal, state, and local levels and the expenses associated with each. Attendees will learn about contracts in New Jersey and about resources available for small businesses. Attendees will also learn about the types of insurance available and how to manage potential risks. Part of bizHub’s FREE FALL 2023 Entrepreneurial and Small Business Course Series.
