Mentoring

We have heard from many of you about the need for a business mentor. What you have described is a cross between a coach and a friend- someone who knows what they are doing or has expertise in a specific areas and also cares about your success.  Through our referral process you will find many people who can serve as a short-term mentor on a given topic.  For a more wide-ranging and open-ended mentoring process we work closely with SCORE.

SCORE is a not for profit organization and a resource partner of the Small Business Administration. With 13,000 volunteers, nation-wide- SCORE offers free mentoring services that are designed to:

• Provide expertise and practical know-how
• Help organize your business plan
• Troubleshoot new strategies and ideas
• Offer proven business tools
• Become your trusted small business advisor

The Cape May County bizHub will facilitate a connection to a SCORE mentor and follow-up to ensure that you are getting the help you need.
